To provide social justice in the best coordinated way to ensure that the under privileged and the poor regularly receive welfare services for both sustainable growth and eradication of poverty though convergence of organizing, joining forces, facilitating and making communities voices heard effectively. It is an attempt to lay the foundation for the proper psychological, physical and social development of the poor and unheard communities.

About AIAWCD

AIAWCD was founded in 2000 and is a registered non-profit society which works Pan India with its Head Office in Delhi. It is working in the fields of education, health and community development, Vocational training for SHG and Legal Awareness, with a special focus on underprivileged women & children and SC/ST/OBC and Minority Community

AIAWCD traces its modest beginnings to an initiative to educate a handful of eager children in a neighborhood slum cluster. Later, it extended its commitment to the community at large, through provision of primary health-care facilities. NFE, Awareness & employment. Today, it has an established non- formal education program, a multi-faceted Health program, legal Support and Employment generating activities.

Over a period of time it has evolved into a multidimensional organization. Some of the major programs initiated by AIAWCD are:

  • Non Formal Education (NFE) classes for children

  • Women and Children Health Programs

  • Women’s awareness program; such as Legal counseling and nutritional camps

  • Women’s vocational training for income enhancement

  • DOTS program

  • Linkages with government schemes & benefit.

  • Textile and handicrafts Training


The Objectives AIAWCD

The Objectives AIAWCD are mainly to uplift the social status of such Communities who are suppressed and deprived from the common social needs. The objectives are to provide them Basic Education, Health Care, Nutrition Food, Awareness to identify the community specific need to empower them. Our objectives are also to provide them the Vocational Training to make them independent so that they need not to depend on the prevailing male dominated environment of such societies.
